On Sunday Feb 9th 2014 members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and St. John’s Fire Fighter’s met for what we hope to be the first annual “Battle of The Battles” hockey game organized by Todd Churchill of reasonfortherink.com

A good time was had for all with St. John’s Fire Fighters eventually winning the game 9 to 6. More importantly more than $4,500.00 was raised for Shriners Hospitals, Rainbow Riders and Easter Seals. Congratulations to both the RHC and Fire Fighters for their fabulous effort both on and off the ice.

On Sunday Feb 9th 2014 members of the RNC and St. John’s Fire Fighter’s met in St. Phillips for what we hope to be our first annual “Battle of The Badges” organized by Todd Churchill of reasonfortherink.com

A good time was had by all with the Fire Fighters winning the game 9 to 6. The score however was secondary to the more than $4,500.00 raised for Shriners Children’s Hospitals, Rainbow Riders and Easter Seals. Congratulations to both teams on their efforts both on and off the ice.
