Firefighters made quick work of a small forest fire burning near the Goulds bypass road yesterday afternoon. The St. John’s Regional Fire Department and Dept. of Forestry firefighters were on the scene of the blaze in the woods where flames could be seen along with smoke billowing into the sky.
