At the world Championship of the Firefighter Combat Challenge held this past week in Phoenix Arizona, Local 1075 and St. John’s Regional Fire Department member Richard Hynes was able to score a sub-100 time with a time of 1:38.04. There are only perhaps a dozen firefighters  a year world wide who are able reach this plateau.

At next years world Richard will be inducted into the Lion’s Den – The Hall of fame. Over-all in this years world competition Richard finished 67th in a field of 500.
