Woman rescued from Signal Hill cliff late Sunday night From CBC
A woman who was believed to be taking pictures on Signal Hill ran into trouble Sunday night and had to be rescued by the St. John’s Regional Fire Department. The call came in around 9:30 p.m., with rescuers dispatched to the area around the Queen’s Battery. They managed to hoist the 26-year-old woman to safety by 11 p.m. Police said she was cold, wet, and treated in hospital for a minor injury.
