We are proud to announce that Brother Alex Forrest, President of the Winnipeg Professional Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 867 has become the first Fire Fighter to be appointed to the International Agency for Research on Cancer that will evaluate the Carcinogenic Risks to Humans in regards to cancer.  This committee is part of the World Health Organization and will look at the risk of cancer in Fire Fighters. His appointment was made possible because of the years of research and work that the International Association of Fire Fighters has done on this issue.
