The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and St. John’s Regional Fire Department have teamed up to support the “Reason for the Rink” project by playing in the 1st Annual RNC / SJRFD Winter Classic. This game will feature players from both organizations all to raise money for three great local children’s charities – Easter Seals NL, Rainbow Riders and Mazol Shriners. The teams are set to faceoff on February 9th, 2014 at 2PM.
Since it is for charity, the RNC promises not to embarrass the poor fire department too bad. Come out and enjoy the Police show the SJRFD how to play hockey.
