Representatives of the St. John’s Fire Fighters Association are in Ottawa today for the International Association of Fire Fighters annual Legislative Conference. Today they are being addressed by Prime Minister Trudeau and others, tomorrow they will visit Parliament to meet with Newfoundland MP’s and Senators.

Issues being discussed include the PTSD epidemic among First Responders, changes to the National Building Code and the Public Safety Officer Compensation Fund for line of duty deaths
